Yaaah. It has been a while since I had posted here on my puny blog. Seven months is waaaay too long. One would think this blogsite is done for.

Worry not, my cute lil refuge. Your useless owner had gone through a series of huge decision-making schemes!

What went through these past months ya ask? Well, there was the ominous licensure board exam for civil engineers and the whole job hunting I am still doing but not really doing because all I’ve done is waiting for the two companies I would like to work at. (Hello, running sentences I always am notorious at!)

After the board exam, I went home from the dormitory and held my phone, changed the wifi password, read “few” manga series I’ve left (about 20-30? No kidding!), watched anime and movies, and reactivated my facebook account.

I think my accomplishment, aside from getting my license, was to finish Naruto manga in two weeks. Yep, right from its first chapter to the final (chapter 700). I actually held myself back because I might finish it in 5 days. Hahaha! Naruto is my spirit animal. He is relatable and inspirational and kawaii. In short, my hero. Yay! (Ichigo-chan, don’t worry, I still love you lots!)

So, blog-chan, you have to bear with your stupid owner again! Hahaha

Year-End Highlights: 2014

It is already summer but I don’t care. Hahaha! Presenting the year-end highlights for 2014!

I failed Soil Mechanics. Though I got a high grade in the preliminaries, it did not mean I would pass the subject. I failed (as in unimaginable figure) midterms so it was expected. I aced the finals nonetheless. But it is not enough to make me pass the whole semester.

The saddest birthday ever. Starbucks Market! Market! celebrated it with me. Guilt-Free Indulgence in the house. They sang the birthday song for me and managed to make me smile. A bit.

For the first time, I treated my friends because it was my birthday (not my real day though). The only ones with me were Ryla, Kirby and Homer.

Summer. It was the last time I was classmates with Vee. We separated from the gang. I became close friends with Reil and Reniel.

I, with Vee, used to visit my mates from the other Theory 2 class when we had breaks. Reil and Reniel were eating lomi outside so I made Vee come with me to support me with “visiting” my crush. Hahaha

First semester. Vee’s not my classmate in any subject anymore. My only friends there were Reil and Reniel.

Thesis. My groupmates were Reniel, Kirby and Ryla. The idea came from us all but Kirby had the idea of using the raw material for our product. Not telling. Hahaha. Reniel was very enthusiastic of the project organization we found inside our HQ during our practicum. He, of course, was the project manager (leader). I was the project-in-charge (assistant leader AKA his secretary pwe!). Kirby was the deputy engineer. Ryla was the finance manager/engineer. The good thing about our schedules was we were divided into two — internal affairs (also known as the TTh Team consisting of Ryla and Kirby) and external affairs (the MWF Team consisting of Reniel and me) — each team had the same schedule. The MWF Team handled any thesis-related thing outside the campus. It includes site visits, interviews, library visits, and searching for a certain someone. The TTh Team did the work inside the campus.

We also visited De La Salle Henry Sy Library. It was so amazing! Ryla and I loved the place. It was so admirable. I saw many books that I wanted. I’d love to visit there whenever.

Maleficent is the only movie I together with Fidi and Kirby watched in the theater last year. The rest were downloads.

And speaking of downloads, I had a 500-Gb collection of anime and movies. It was actually more than 500 gig. I had to delete 100 series to fit new downloads. Talk about the sad life of a poor girl.

And I finished my life as a poor girl.

I rented a room with Kirby, Gela and Jeno at Vito Cruz for the whole semester.

It was pouring hard when Gela’s nanay invited us spontaneously to have fun. We knew no flood just to meet nanay. The flood was actually knee-deep and it was like that everywhere until Reniel’s condo. The wind was so strong. In the end, we went to Harrison Plaze to sing at a local videoke hub.

A friend and I unconciously started to try different restos and food trips we could think of that moment. A lot of first times actually.

This year alone, we applied for two companies for our OJT. The reason for leaving the first one was we got tired of office works.

We thought of the craziest excuse for not taking up exam.

Kirby, Fidi, Vee, Reil, Chezki and I watched Gela’s final performance as Tinik ng Teatro‘s actress. She was the lead character.

Gela’s sister, Acel, and I became friends. On her 18th birthday, she kidnapped us (Kirby, Homer and I) to Pansol, Laguna. They rented a private hot spring resort.

I attended for the first time an anime convention! Best of Anime was truly great! I went there with fellow anime fan, Shee. There I finally found Uruhara Kisuke’s hat! I bought it because he is my favorite.

Neb was our hero of the first semester.

I started to drink booze. Lowin’s birthday. Just for the heck of it.

Christmas party with a different set of friends. I was invited by Ryla, Jeff, Neb and Reniel. Why not? Of course it was a drinking party! We had exchange gifts. It was the only gift I received for Christmas.

Catherine is now a certified public accountant. When she came to Manila to work, we spent a lot of time together. On our last day, I went with her to look for the building she would work at.

My high school barkada, as always, went to Catherine’s home to celebrate her birthday. On December 31, I had a rough ride. No regrets though.

Reconciliation Part 1

A year and a half.

It took me that time to reconcile with an old friend. That long.

We were great friends. We used to be. But one thing ruined it all.

These past months I did nothing but recover and renew the messed-up me. I asked my friends to stop telling me that I should forgive her. It was annoying and it would waste the me I was rebuilding. Yes, pride is part.

But I sincerely thank my friends who helped and respected my decisions. Their endless supports make my heart fill up with gratitude and warmth. I love my friends and my mentor who I am dedicating my latest book to. Also, their understanding made me think it is time. Especially Vee. I dunno. She just did.

She, my old friend, actually approached the unsuspecting me, who was busy with my plates in Steel Design, first. Her reflexes did. She told me that she was surprised when she greeted me hello and apologized for what she all did before.

It baffled me. Thanks to that, it made me realize how much I missed her. The clock was ticking. The time for us to confront each other came nearer. I actually said that one day after all were done, we would talk.

Then it came one fateful day. Thanks to oreo cookies she gave me that day.

I mustered up the courage to speak to her. I invited her out. She agreed. It excited me. A lot.

I was very confused. I did not know what to say or how to spark a conversation. Should I switch to my leader mode? Strict assistant mode? Normal mode? Friendly mode?

Thank God Elaine was there. She eased up the tension inside me. We started like we used to. It was nostalgic.

We mostly talked about what we missed these past months. Gee, it felt like we did not have conflicts before.

She was surprised that I had drinking marathon with my mates for three days! Hahaha beat that!

Suddenly, her mom called. She needed to go home. We looked forward to part two. I asked for her number and kept communicating each other.

It is nice to have your old friend back. 🙂

I think it is a nice graduation gift for her.

Year-end Highlights: 2013

It started bad. Here comes the depths of depression! Wooh!

I had an argument at the start of the year but didn’t clear up totally. However, I didn’t mind it from that day on for what was important was friendship anyway. Pride wasn’t important anyway.

My only grandparent died. I saw my mom devastated and how heartbreaking it was.

CE Night. IT WAS MY EFFING FIRST TIME!!! I never attended JS prom on high school. I was quite envious. Since it was on the day of my granny’s interment, we quite rushed things. I just had a random dress (not gown) borrowed from our landlady. I didn’t have time for make-up. I didn’t know how to apply make-up that time. The person waiting for me was quite mad. Ugh. I hid it from my friends I was still mourning so not to be a killjoy. I was actually happy but the death of my granny made me not-so-happy. It made me forget the nightmare I had. Thanks to my crazy friends.

2013 was my first ever Valentine’s. Though I had no date, I liked helping out my friends surprising their beloved. However, Vee was hurt that time.

I saw for the first time how wasted people could be thanks to intoxication.

On my 19th birthday, finally, Vee attended! Wooh! She gave me a black box I wanted ever since. At present, it is my Pandora’s Box. Sadly, Kate did not come again due to the effing convention for accountancy students. 😦

I thought I would fail Mechanics of Deformable Bodues. I was even prepared! I passed.

Fourth year. I became very close with Maye, my ECE friend. I had the most ineffective professors! I didn’t feel like studying anymore. I felt like I was a zombie.

I was hailed as Academic Directress of Adamson University – Association of Civil Engineering Students.

Vee and Reil became a couple.

I lost my most “important friends.” I was brain-dead. I untrusted many people.

Though I lost friends, true ones remained.

I have a new phone!

I learned make-up and earned self-esteem. I know little by little, I did. I am still on the process of killing the shy Cye. Gradually, I am revealing the true me.

Half of the remaining block students failed Structural Theory 1. Chezki’s scholarship was pulled out.

AdU-LEAD!!! The three-day team building Baguio experience for Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) in Adamson University. I had fuuuuun. I love Baguio.

Dad went home from Kuwait. From what I heard, he was forced to leave. It was unknown if he still had work. 😦

On Christmas day, we had a familial crisis. My whole family was crying. I must be strong for my siblings. On that night, what the future may be kept flashing. I realized I must have a job to support my studies — Dad’s work might be gone, also we were in huge debts. I will be effing rich one day!!!

We had a new desktop PC. I broke it together with my laptop. 😦

Food Adventurer’s Club-United was founded consisting of Homer, Kirby and me. :3

Maye and I became closer than ever! XD

Finally reunited with Karlo-kun after two years!

Kate’s 20th birthday at Gapan. Hehehe

Reneil-kun comes in Kate’s life.

On the last day of 2013, I was with my DH family. 🙂

2013 ended with a smile on my face. It gave me my ups and downs, with so many tears poured and wasted, yet at the end of the day, I learned valuable lessons.

Hence, 2014, BRING IT ON!

Second Sem, First Day (freshie days)

Ayun, simula na naman ng bagong semestre. Tapos na ang isang buwang sem break. Kainis. Bitin.
The day before the semester opened, Mum left me in the dorm… ALONE. Wala pa si KP kasi the next, next day pa siya.
The next morning, pasukan na. It’s a lame excuse i know.) Then, off to go!
Same building, same floor. Nagpunta na ako sa CS 406. Okay, as expected, maaga ako nakarating, together with early birds. May kaunting hindi kakilala, siguro dalawa sila and the rest were my classmates last sem. Syempre kumustahan portion.
Out of 40 students, 14 lang ang nakapag-enroll sa block CE101. Out of 10 biological girls(I need to say biological. Pardon me.), only 4 made it.

Tas dumating na ang mga guro… Okay naman ang mga prof ko. Kaso ung isa kong prof, nagbabalik.

For goodness sake, college na kami! Hindi elementary! Sa English namin unang ginawa iyon. Ayon sa aming propesor, nararapat lamang na extemporaneous (not impromptu, kasi she gave us the details of what to say) ang aming sasabihin. Tas ayun, me dapat pa raw sabihin na “motto.” (Reminds me of Wowowee)
Me, panicked, for I couldn’t think of one though I had bunch of those in my notebook. My friend gave me one. He saved me! Haha! I actually screwed introducing myself. It’s evident, they laughed! What did I say? Some punks! Noong time naman ng Filipino, ang prof namin e sabi sa aming block e kami raw ang “survivors” sa kanyang subject which is true. Maraming bagsak dun sa Filipino! Lucky me I didn’t fail!

At doon nagtatapos ang first day ng second sem ko sa paaralan.

UN Day 2010

Hay, malas noong UN Day or United Nations Day ng General de Jesus College. Inulan. Signal number two pa sa Nueva Ecija. Wala tuloy pasok.

Wow! It reminded me of the PNP Camp in UN Avenue, Ermita, Manila! The best (?) way to describe it is that it looks like a new-built house! (Doesn’t make sense, eh? Just use your imagination, kiddo!) Wahaha! 😀

Me: Bulaga!
KP: Ma’am!!!!!!!!!!!
Ma’am Tiqui: Ui!!! *looks at KP* Kumusta na? Ang payat mo ah!
KP: Tumaba nga po ako eh!
MT: Ang payat mo nga!
Me: Ako po Ma’am, hindi niyo kukumustahin?
MT & KP: Hahahahahaha!
Me: Ma’am!
MT: Talaga? Eh di kahusay!
KP: Ako rin po!
MT: Ano ba mga kurso niyo?
KP: Accounting po!
Me: CE po!

PhP30.00!!! Hanep! Matagal na pala ibinenta yong silvanas na iyon! Noong last year pa pala.

Haha! Pamasahe ko lang iyon!

At marami rin kaming nakitang alumna ng GJC, anjan iyong Faith last year at iyong Faith last, last year. (IV-Honesty kami, 2nd section.
